Product Training - Maximising Your Investment

Many customers find that the online video tutorials and the documentation and instruction available on this web site gives them all the support and knowledge they need to be able to use Web Management Studio both efficiently and effectively.

There are, however, a number of scenarios where investing in one or more dedicated Web Management Studio training sessions can prove both advantageous and cost effective. 

Here are just some of the reasons why you may consider Web Management Studio Training ...

  • You have very tight deadlines and cannot afford to follow the natural product learning curve
  • Your particular installation/configuration implements some additional bespoke functionality and you want to utilise this to the full
  • Your web site will be managed by several people and you want to make sure that they are equally well equipped to do the job
  • You have been using Web Management Studio for some time and now feel you want to be able to better utilise some of the more advanced features available
  • You simply don't like watching video tutorials and would prefer a more direct/hands-on approach!

Some General Notes ...

Before scheduling your training programme, your Web Management Studio Account Manager will discuss your requirements with you and develop a schedule for the event.  It is important to achieve the right balance between the scope and detail of the topics covered and the time available - your Account Manager will be able to advise.

 

Training courses are normally delivered at the customer's premises.  Please review the following checklist:

  • Each delegate should have a dedicated PC complete with web browser (Internet Explorer™ (version 6.0) or later or Firefox™ (version 2.0 or later) depending upon company policy/practice) and internet access (512Kbps or better).  We would also suggest that the PC has a screen resolution of at least 1024 x 768 pixels.
  • Ideally the training room/area will be separate from the main office to reduce interruption.
  • If available, a White Board and/or Flip Chart is a useful facility.

If you would prefer that the training be delivered at an alternative location, please ensure that the available facilities meet the general requirements listed above.

 

Immediately prior to the training please double-check that the equipment (and the delegates!) are prepared and available.  It is frustrating for all concerned to spend the first 3 hours of the course trying to establish internet access!  Yes, it does happen!
