| Web Management Studio is developed using Microsoft's ASP.net development environment. The following web hosting services are required for successful deployment. For most Web Management Studio customers, a suitable hosting service can be obtained from one of the many commercial hosting companies. The details provided below are for those customers who want to manage their own web server and associated services. In addition to the basic services defined above, the server should be specified with the following minimum configuration. These values should be increased depending upon load/activity conditions and data storage requirement. - 1GB RAM
- 5GB of available disk space
- 512MB/s network connectivity (bandwidth)
- Database Server

- SMTP Server
Many Web Management Studio web sites provide services which require SMTP email service (membership registration services for example). The hosting environment should provide a SMTP service, either from a dedicated server or, possibly, as a service running on the web server.
- In low–load installations it may be possible to run both the web server and the database server from the same physical device.
- Security must be a prime consideration when designing or selecting the hosting environment.
